THE CEREMAIA
The National Reference Center for Autoinflammatory Diseases and Inflammatory Amyloidosis "CEREMAIA" in Tenon is an adult constituent site and is labeled by the European rare disease network ERN RITA.
He deals mainly with monogenic autoinflammatory diseases, the most common of which is Familial Mediterranean Fever.
It supports the etiological diagnosis and treatment of patients with inflammatory amyloidosis.
It ensures the transition of young pediatric patients with autoinflammatory diseases and offers therapeutic education sessions to patients with Inflammatory Amyloidosis and Familial Mediterranean Fever.
It has a translational research activity to better understand these diseases, discover new genes and thus new therapeutic targets in order to improve the care of patients aged 18 to 99.
Our team
Tenon Hospital has been an expert center in the management of autoinflammatory diseases and Inflammatory Amyloidosis since 2005.
It is a reference center dedicated to Familial Mediterranean Fever, other genetic autoinflammatory diseases (formerly called hereditary relapsing fevers) and their most severe complication: Inflammatory Amyloidosis.
The team is made up of two senior doctors who coordinate the center: Pr Sophie Georgin-Lavialle and Dr Léa Savey and two doctors who joined the center in 2021: Dr Marion Delplanque and Dr Antoine Fayand and can receive emergency patients.
- Pr Georgin-Lavialle and Dr Savey treat patients with all autoinflammatory diseases and inflammatory amyloidosis.
- Dr. Delplanque primarily sees patients with Familial Mediterranean Fever, with adult Still's disease and with rheumatological manifestations.
- Dr. Fayand primarily sees unclassified, familial forms, patients with ADA2 deficiency and with neurological and psychiatric manifestations.
Therapeutic education sessions for patients with Inflammatory Amyloidosis and Familial Mediterranean Fever are provided by Pr Georgin-Lavialle, Dr Savey and Dr Delplanque.
Management of rare diseases with skin involvement & allergology
Tenon Hospital is an expert center in the management of rare diseases with skin involvement and also in allergology. Thus, the Tenon MAI center has a strong focus on dermatology with:
- Pr Angèle Soria, allergo-dermatologist who offers consultations for the management of dermatological manifestations of autoinflammatory diseases, in particular complex urticaria resistant to conventional treatments, severe atopic diseases including eczema or dermatitis atopics and SITRAME syndrome.
- Dr. Jean-Benoit Monfort, dermatologist who offers consultations for the management of dermatological manifestations of autoinflammatory diseases including urticaria, psoriasis, severe acne, hidradenitis suppurativa (Verneuil's disease), folliculitis, neutrophilic dermatoses, Vexas syndrome and recurrent canker sores.
Kidney disease management
Tenon Hospital is an expert center in the management of kidney disease at all stages. Thus, the Tenon MAI center has a strong focus on nephrology and inflammatory amyloidosis with:
- the Professor Jean-Jacques Boffa, a nephrologist who offers consultations for nephrotic syndromes, inflammatory amyloidosis and renal insufficiency during autoinflammatory diseases.
- the Prof. Helene Francois, a nephrologist, who specializes in the care of patients with advanced renal insufficiency, for pre-transplant renal assessment and for follow-up after renal transplantation.
